Your appointment is on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17th in Custoza, a wonderful wine-growing town between Verona and Lake Garda

 

120 minute Cooking Class + dinner and wine pairing Masterclass

4.00pm – 6.00pm cooking class

7.00pm dinner and Masterclass

Where: Antico Ristoro Restaurant – Via Valle Molini – CUSTOZA (Verona)

Schedule:

4.00pm – 6.00pm hands-on cooking class. We will prepare:

traditional potato gnocchi and scallop

around 7.00 pm dinner with dishes prepared in the cooking class

Followed by dessert

 

The Sommelier Elsa Menegolli will introduce you the wines best suited to the dishes prepared and will follow you step by step to take you on this sensorial journey made of aromas and flavors of the Veronese land.

Chef Lorella Rossi 

      

 

 

 

 

She has been a Chef for her entire life. She impeccably manages the Antico Ristoro Restaurant in Custoza and Villa Ottolini, an 18th century residence used for banquets and ceremonies. Lover of traditional Veronese cuisine, she offers revisited dishes and sublime preparations with Broccoletto di Custoza, a Slow Food presidium of Verona. An inveterate traveller, she collects information everywhere to bring it home and transform it into magic in the dishes she prepares. In her free time she dedicates herself to food and wine and experiential tourism by hosting fabulous cooking classes in her kitchen and incredible tastings in the halls of her home.

 

 

Sommelier Elsa Menegolli     

       

Sommelier & Taster. Sensory judge, she started out as a wine taster and soon became a teacher in the main Italian associations. Over time she became interested in the study of sensorial analysis, also approaching spirits, craft beer and honey. She has many years of experience in the teaching and communication fields. She holds tasting courses at various levels in Italy and abroad. Typically a consultant, she deals with communication and training for sommeliers and operators in the wine, gastronomy and wine tourism world. Registered in the official list of Experts of the Veneto Region for DOC and DOCG and in the national list of Technicians and Experts of Virgin and Extra Virgin Olive Oils. She combined her studies on food and wine with those of communication, life coaching, sports mental coaching and well-being, specializing in nutrition, holistic and bionatural disciplines. Currently she is one of the only Italian multi-matrix tasters with specialisations, including at an international level, on chocolate, honey, coffee, tea, cheeses, cured meats and mineral waters. Based in Valpolicella, she promotes wine tourism and Italian products abroad.
